Now accepting scholarship applications for 2024 – Holdingford Scholarship

More than 20 scholarships will be awarded this year

Holdingford, MN (January 16, 2024) – Holdingford Scholarship Fund has announced that it will be accepting applications for the 2024 scholarships starting January 2, 2024. 2024 Holdingford High School seniors who plan to pursue post-secondary education may apply.

Holdingford Scholarship Fund will award the following scholarships in 2024:

• Eighteen $750 scholarships will be awarded to those pursuing higher education (of any type, including commerce).
• 3 $1,000 Lane Family Scholarships awarded to students pursuing trade careers.
• One $1,000 Aaron Well Scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing a career in the plumbing, electrical, or HVAC fields.

Holdingford High School seniors should check Google Classroom for a link to the scholarship application. Students can also consult their school counselor with questions about how to access the application. The application deadline is Friday, March 29, 2024. Scholarship awards will be announced at the Holdingford Scholarship Awards Ceremony scheduled for May 2024.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must graduate from Holdingford High School. Students must also complete the application form. Scholarships are awarded based on extracurricular activities, work, volunteer work, and essay quality.

The Holdingford Scholarship Fund would like to thank the community members, alumni, local businesses, civic organizations, and dedicated advisory board members who support Holdingford students.

Established in 2013 by community members and Holdingford High School alumni, the vision of the Holdingford Scholarship Fund is to provide a scholarship to every student graduating from Holdingford High School. The Fund is a partner fund of the Initiative Foundation and is led by a volunteer committee that ensures a permanent and self-sustaining source of support for graduates.
